School Trips and Class Outings at EXITnow in Hagen – Team Building for Your Class
Looking for a school trip destination that's fun and strengthens your class community at the same time? A visit to EXITnow gives your class the ideal opportunity to practise important social and cognitive skills outside regular lessons. Whether as a school outing, an end-of-year treat or part of a project week – our cooperative adventures make team building tangible.
Why our missions are ideal for your class
Communication & teamwork: Our missions rely on cooperation rather than pure logic. Students have to coordinate, listen to each other and divide up the tasks effectively to reach their goal.
Critical thinking: To master the challenges and uncover the secrets of the rooms, creativity and out-of-the-box thinking are needed. Everyone can bring their individual strengths to the group.
A shared sense of achievement: Successfully completing the mission in a dense, atmospheric setting brings the class together – and guarantees plenty to talk about in the schoolyard.
Our adventures for your trip
We offer various options to tailor your visit to the size of your group:
Exciting indoor missions: Depending on the room size, students can compete in smaller teams. Choose between the break-in at Biggs – The Legacy (for up to 8 people), the escape from the Secret Prison (single version for up to 8 people) and the more intense Madhouse – Sanatorium Pottsfield (for up to 6 people).
Head-to-head duel (only until 7 August 2026): A special highlight for larger groups is the battle mode in the Secret Prison. Up to 16 students can race against each other at the same time in two completely identical rooms.
Flexible outdoor adventure: Our interactive city rally Die Jagd nach dem Zwieback-Rezept (The Hunt for the Rusk Recipe) takes your class through Hagen's city centre in the fresh air. It is played simply in the browser on the students' smartphones (no app download needed). With no time pressure, the tour can easily be adapted to the group's pace.
How it works for larger classes
To give everyone the best experience, larger groups play in several rounds. While part of the class solves exciting tasks in the missions, the rest of the group waits comfortably in our large foyer until it's their turn.
Important organisational notes
Consent form: For all participants under 16, we need a consent form signed by a parent or guardian in advance (we provide a form to download).
Age rating: Please note when planning that the Madhouse mission is only suitable for ages 16 and over due to its theme.
